Sun Protection: Waxed skin is freshly exfoliated, so it is recommended to apply a proper SPF if you will be exposed to direct sun for more than one hour.
Ingrown Hairs: To prevent or reduce ingrown hairs, it is recommended to begin gentle exfoliation one week post waxing service. (Ask about our "bikini facial" service & about our house-made Brigitta's Blend for ingrown prevention.)
Topical exfoliation: Exfoliating with fabrics such as gloves, mitts or a dry loofah is recommended. (Ask about our exclusive product Brigitta's Blend for ingrown prevention.)
Beyond topical: Regularly apply products that penetrate into the hair follicle and "break-down" built up oil deposits that may prevent new hair from growing out of the follicle. Ask for a sample of Brigitta's Blend. It's a best seller!

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT:
It is advised to avoid waxing when you are PRE-MENSTRUAL.
If you have been SHAVING, please allow time for hair growth to be at least 1/3 inch (2-3 weeks of growth). Any trimming should be done AFTER your waxing service.
If you have been using any EXFOLIANTS on your face, please let us know before your service.
A careful selection of pre & post products are used to reduce skin irritation & discomfort that can be associated with waxing. We also apply a soothing herbal anti-bacterial solution after waxing to prevent breakouts.
